Holiday Message Letter Part 1

I know that I have not posted in ages, and for that I am sorry, but in
some ways it is a good thing.

More work, more purpose, less posting.

However, I also see that lack of posting as a potential problem as I
slowly lose contact with all of you and with my more creative side.

However, as we are heading into the holiday season (and into a place
where there is computer access on evenings and weekends) I hope to put
up a couple of entertaining posts over the weekend. These will be my
Christmas Letters, and for those of you who aren't familiar with David
Sedaris's idea of Christmas Letters, please familiarize yourself!

So, installment 1, part 1:

Happy Holidays!
As many of you may know I have recently started a new position at a
maker of language learning software. The work is interesting, the
people fascinating and the overall experience good.

I've now been here a month and have finally developed a bathroom
schedule. There are 500 people in the office and 1 restroom, a certain
amount of planning is necessary, and you do not want to go to the
bathroom after 11am.
