Tonight we bottle the wine,
To place in urns what is mine.
We look to one another for the top
That ends the work of a long while.
To wait another in patient repose
In prose another novel start to stop.

We got the news today that they were free,
Not free to fly, but not constrained.
They were released by force, but without pain,
They were one less than they shoud be.
It comes as a blessing to be free,
But it may not be the best release,
To be free and to be not at peace.
To be at peace and not rest is the call,
And not to lay down, but to stand tall,
For those who cannot and those who fear.
It is not the peace of those who die,
But the release of those who still live.
